Then they would have more problems.
Mr, McGrath stated that as the system stood right now it was handling all
of the flows with all of the seats. There hasn't been any emergency
failures or anything.
Mr. Harrington agreed and stated that they were inspected at the time of
transfer. There were no problems then.
Mr. Ball stated that for himself, personally, he would like see someP a of
report to that effect before a final decision. He also agreed with Mr.
Harrington that they should seek town counsel's opinion on where they
stand regarding the option of going back to 1995,
Ally. Grady stated that if they did not revert back to those numbers then
they definitely needed to research the issue of the progression of seats
and then obtain an opinion from town counsel. That would be her
recommendation.
Mr. Santos did not see the need for town counsel's opinion. He could
make a motion right now to rescind the current seat numbers and go back
to 1995. Nobody would block or question them. That was their p ro ative
as a board. But, they would have to have some serious public"comment
r
before they even did that. He wanted a timeline as to when they would
make a final decision. They had never let anything go as long as they had
at this point in time. They weren't even close to the light at the end of the
funnel.
IIIb. Bail suggested the final decision be decided by the next meeting,
Could they get a verbal from the DEP for the outside seating and seasonal
grater usage? If the DEP carne back and said no, forget it. They could
have to make a decision next time they met.
Mr. Santos asked if two woeks would be reasonable or at the end of the
month,
Mr. Harrington stated that two weeks would be fine.
Mr. Santos re-iterated that they would grant to make a decision within the
next two weeps. Maybe they could work together. He was not trying to
insult anyone here. He moped they could work it out. He granted a
concrete plan within two-weeks. He didn't can't to hear any more of this.
IIIb. Ball made a motion to continue this item on the agenda for two weeks
until June 171", 2004. Mr. Santos seconded the motion. Motion passed.
1
