5
Mr. Ball made a motion to approve the plans as submitted with the
following changes: There would be and elimination of a monitoring well
with the testing out of the d-box. The installation start time was by
December V1, 2004. The finish time for the dentrification installation
would be by January 1111, 2005. Any need for an extension should,b
discussed with the board. The water service would be replaced and
sleeved. The variance.from the 10 milligrams of effluent to 25 milligrams,,
Mr. Santos interrupted the motion and offered the following suggestion.
Since they were giving all of these concessions and they were net getting
everything back. He felt that before they opened up for the season both
systems had to be completed whatever the date. First they were told it
was going to close in October. Now it was Thanksgiving and vire were now
on to December 111% 2004. They were not sure when they were going to
shut the motel down. He felt that before they opened up the office or the
hotel. He would like to see beth systems installed, completed and up and
running. if it was April I` or March V% they needed to twice into
i
consideration the harsh printers,
Mr. Kirrane stated that the year round issue was still'up in the air because
of the substantial costs associated with the installation of this kind of a
system, For the economical viability of the complex they were
contemplating a move to a year round use.
Mrs Harrington stated that some of the units were not fully insulated.
Mr. Kirrane stated that this would not be only for the system.but there
would also be a reed for an additional investment in terms insulation and
things of that nature to make probably not all of the units because h
didn't think there was a demand for all of those units on a year round
basis* so there would probably a limited number of those units that wuld
be made available on a year round basis. But, that probably wouldn't begin
until the next season, anyway. He didn't think there would be any problem" -,
having the systems completed before they opened next spring. if it
became problematic because of an unusually harsh printer. Then they
would just come back and ask the board for some indulgence at that time
because obviously the office use is minimal. The complex itself would be
completed by that time. if they had that issue they would cross that
bridge when they carne to it.
Ms. Grady clarified that the completion date for the entire system would
be prior to the next opening date. Correct?
Mr. Santos re-iterated that he wanted the system completed before they
opened the doors on either system, They were not going to split lairs.
i
2
