Harrington stated that it would be on October 14 1h 1 20045 which would be on <br /> their next meeting. <br /> Mr. Santos asked if they were going to discuss 123 Tide Run, which was what they <br /> had voted on. <br /> Mr. Harrington stated that they were going to discuss 123 Tide Run. <br /> Mr. Grotzke began by stating that it was approximately three-weeks ago that he was <br /> there for 123 Tide Run presenting a proposed septic system. They were Hing for <br /> an increase in flow from three-bedrooms to five. The board had not had enough time <br /> to review this so they asked for three more weeps. <br /> Mr.-Harrington stated that the way the plan was presented.was that there was an <br /> existing upgrade down for the three--bedrooms and an existing leaching area, which <br /> Mr. Gr t l e has listed as 480 square feet with flow diffusers. It was a Cape <br /> Islands plan. It was installed. Right now there were would be two other flow <br /> diffusers added using the bottom area. Mr. Grotzke 'acne up with the total square <br /> footage for the five-bedrooms. He wasn't encroaching any further than the existing <br /> upgrade except that this was an increase in flow. The variances requested included <br /> the coastal bank. He was providing ' to it. The regulation requires 150'. The SAS <br /> that was put in for the upgrade did not come under the coastal bank regulation. But, <br /> now that it was new construction because ofthe increase in flow it did cone under <br /> the soil stability regulation to the coastal bank. At this point he was providing <br /> denitrification n with a Micro-Fast unit. To be consistent with what they did with the <br /> Great Oak Road properties where they were less than 100'. Ther also included the <br /> ultra-violet disinfection. <br /> Mr. Gr t l e presented the board with his nitrogen calculations for use of the micro- <br /> fast system versus a standard system. <br /> Mr. Santos made a notion to approve the plans as submitted by Michael trot l e for <br /> 123 Tide Run. The following variances were requested and approved: 1. A variance <br /> is requested to allow the pump chamber to be,installed five feet from the proposed <br /> cellar wall in lieu of the required ten feet. 2. A variance is requested to allow the <br /> reserve SAS to be installed less than 25 feet from the existing catch basin. 3. <br /> variance is requested to allow the SAS to be installed 2.5 feet from the northern <br /> property lire in lieu of the required ten feet. (Abutter was notified and return receipt <br /> was provided.) 4. Focal Board of Health regulation # —Soil Stability. A variance <br /> is requested to allow the proposed SAS to be in stalled 94 feet in lieu of the required <br /> 150 feet to-the existing coastal bank{The Micro Fast 0.9 System and Liv light was <br /> 7 <br />
