Y Frederick I cDuffy,29 Devonshire Road—Show cause Hearin (Town Water connection) certified letter dated 9119105 was mailed to fi=red McDuffy, ordering him to appear before the BOH at the 10/06105 meeting. Mr. It cDuffy did not show up for the hearing. Glen Hardngton stated that on 19105 he verified the soil absorption system at 29 Devonshire Road was in failure. On 8125105 a new system was installed by Robert Gilfoy,a licensed septic installer.. Prior to permit issuance, I'lltr. Gilfoy was informed of the Town water connection requirement, as the neva septic system was less than 150 feet from theon-site domestic well. Mr. Gilfoy was informed by Veronica Warden during inspection of the new system that the certificate of compliance would be withheld pending town water connection. A warring notice regarding the requirement for town water hookup was posted at the premises on August 25, 2005. A certified letter of non compliance dated 9124105, was seat to Mr. 1 cDuff ,the owner of the property at 29 Devonshire Road. Glen Harrington's recommendation was to set a fire on a per day basis, no less than $10, no more than$500# Lucy Burton mored that Mr. I IcDuffy be fined$50 per day, effective October 7, 2005, until hookup with town water is completed. Request for Septic Inspector License Reinstatement—Brad white k ` Glen Harrington commented that Brad White had lost his license due to problems with prior work, and then was *111 and could not correct the problems. He has now completed the work, and is asking for reinstatement of his inspectors license. Glenn Santos moved that the Hoard reinstate the septic inspector's license to Brad White. Lucy Burton seconded the motion. All approved. Title V and BOH Variance Requests t —318 I edbro k Road Glien commented that revisions carne in that were relatively minor. They have the operation monitoring and nitrogen requirements on the plan. Lucy Burton mored that the Board approve the vadarnce requests as stated on the letter from Cape Islands Engineering dated 9113105, with the stipulation than the 77 ft. from the BVW be added to the plan. Woodard and Curran Third Quarter Landfill Environmental Monitoring Report-FYI Glen Harrington reported that Rory St. Michael carne out and did a landfill inspection today. Errie went out to take a look as well. Ron stated that the vents didn't need to be so high, and asked Erne to cut them down. Glenn Santos questioned the level of 02 on the report. If you get an 02 level down to 11 to 13, there is usually a high level of methane to take the place of the 02. Oxygen should be consistently 19 to 20. Glenn stated that it may be a typo, but suggested that 1t should be checked out to determine whether there is another-gas there in plane of the 02.
