3 <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> I- Sign Warrants. The Board members signed the warrants. <br /> . Approve Minutes of 4/19106,5117106, and 5122106. There were no additions or corrections to the <br /> minutes from the meetings held on 19106 and 5117106. There were corrections made to the minutes of <br /> 5/22J06. Approval of the three sets of minutes was continued until the next BOH meeting when all Board <br /> members rs will be in attendance. <br /> . Temporary Food Pernrrit : Community Picric,,July 6,,2006--Five Vend m <br /> Applications for a temporary food permit for the Community Picnic to be held on July 6, 2006 were received <br /> from the following five vendors: <br /> - <br /> MHS Boosters Club <br /> Children's Museum <br /> Kiwanis club <br /> Friends of the Mashpee Library <br /> Vito Marotta <br /> F <br /> In the case of Into Marotta, Glen Harrington recommended that all mobile units be inspected prior to the <br /> event. <br /> Lucy Burton made a motion to aprove the above applications for temporary food permits, with the exception <br /> f the MHS Boosters Club. The Boosters club application will be approved, pending receipt of their Serwr <br /> Safe certification. Glenn Santos seconded the motion. All approved. <br /> . Temporary Food Permits: Mashpee Pow-Wow, ,duly 1, , , 2006--Ten.Vendors <br /> Veronica Warden reported that she had talked with Marita Scott who is working with carol Turner on the <br /> event. Veronica provided Marita Scott with her electrical outlet tester to ensure that all electrical posts were <br /> functioning. The Tribe is requiring setup by all vendors one week prior to the event to ensure everything is <br /> functioning properly. Glen Harrington-reported that he had given Manta Scott a copy of the guidelines that <br /> lists all the items-needed for temporary food stands. Theme will be at I'east two server Safe certified persons <br /> at the event: Manta Scott and Fuer Hendricks. There are other vendors as well who have their Sery <br /> Safe certific0tion. All vendors will be Raying the required$25 fee for the temporary food perm t. <br /> Glen Harrington recommended that the BOH go out one day in advance of the event to ched k the <br /> refrigerators and freers to ensure that all electrical systems are working properly. Glen also asked that <br /> all dce dishes be discarded at the end of each day. Glen rioted that there are venison and buffalo dishes <br /> on their menus this year. He asked that the sources of these game meats be confirmed,-in order to b <br /> aware of how they are being processed. <br /> Glenn Santos made a motion to approve the following applications for a temporary food permit for the <br /> Mashpee Pow-Wow on .duly 1, 2135 2006, with the stipulations that the source of the game meats i <br /> disclosed to the Health Agent, that there is a one day advance inspection prior to the event of the <br /> refrigerating and freezing units, and that all rice dishes be discarded at the end of the day: <br /> -Geraldine Hicks <br /> Mic Max Chief Louy`rs Matarrrazo <br /> -Glen Marshall <br /> Mashpee Ladies Auxiliary cherilyn Peters) <br /> - Milton Freye <br /> Veronica Perry <br /> -Vanessa Mendes <br /> -Sherry Poclnett <br /> Joan Arrant <br /> Lucy Burton seconded the motion.
