• <br /> Tori Joy and I reset with four persons from Peabody Properties to go over and sign the <br /> contract for their oversight of Asher"s Path and to review the process of turning over of <br /> management to MHA as of January 1, 2010. Those in attendance for PPI were: Melissas Fish- <br /> crane, Cathy Holt, Justin Paquette, and Guy corricelli. There was a disagreement at the <br /> meeting as to what we had previously agreed to via email. MHIC had agreed that the MHA <br /> would do the bookkeeping through Trial Balance and then PPI would take it from there to do <br /> the financial reporting. PPI had agreed to do this and come up with a cost associated with <br /> this service in order to incorporate into the agreement we were to sign. At the meeting they <br /> disagreed that they agreed to this. After Torn and I got back from the meeting with PPI I <br /> reviewed our emails and confirmed that Torn and I had in fact been correct about our <br /> understanding of what our agreement would be. I contacted PPI about this and we are <br /> waiting to hear back from there. <br /> AH1P Vouchers: we have 2 AHVP vouchers. <br /> RVP VOUCHERS(MOBILE): currently vire have 17 voucher holders in Mashpee. <br /> MRVP Project Based Vouchers: we currently have 38 PB vouchers leased. <br /> DHM Program: we currently have 3 leased. <br /> Section : We currently have 9 Housing choice vouchers leased in Mashpee. <br /> Attachment B: <br /> REPORT OF THE MAHPEE HORSING AUTHORITY <br /> 2009 <br /> To: The Honorable Board of Selectmen and the citizens of the Town of Mashpee: <br /> Fission statement <br /> It is the mission of the Mashpee Housing Authority to remain committed to working <br /> cooperatively with community, state, Federal, and local officials to provide decent, safe, and <br /> affordable housing to the citizens of Mashpee in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. <br /> Purpose <br /> The Mashpee Housing Authority is a duly organized public housing authority, created under <br /> GL chapter 1216. The Authority provides income-based rental units to the elderly, disabled, <br /> and families. The Authority administers federal and state housing programs under the direction <br /> of the authority's Executive Director, with the oversight of a five-member Board of <br /> Commissioners all of whom are residents of Mashpee. <br /> General Information <br /> The Mashpee Housing Authority's main office is located in the`Com unity Building of the Frank <br /> J. Horneyer village, 7 Jobs Fishing Road, Mashpee, MA 02649. This office is open part-time, <br /> Monday 8:00 AM —noon, and Tuesday —Thursday from 8:00 A — 4:00 PM. we are closed for <br /> administrative work on Fridays, but are available by appointment. Hours can vary without <br /> notice depending on staff vacations, trainings, meetings and other appointments outside of the <br /> office. The Asher"s Path Apartments site office is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursday <br /> from 8AM — :00 PM. Applicants and clients are encouraged to call for an appointment if they <br /> need to see someone. Special appointment times can be arranged, including evening and <br /> weekends. A -hour drop box has been installed in the main office entranceway to allow <br /> people to drop off paperwork at any time. Applications for mousing are available at the main <br /> office entranceway 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Applications for Asher's Path <br /> Apartments are available in the lobby of that bu'Ming hours a clay, seven days a week. <br /> Monthly Board meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month unless otherwise <br /> posted at the Town Hall. The location of the meetings is usually at the main office at 7 Job's <br />
