(.Ann e aplained that this was heresay . ) Nancy <br /> plans to do this. work, before s-he leaves' the State Douse . <br /> In ore er to get th-e grant moving, she would -need . a letter <br /> of 'competence to promote this park. They - will- need a <br /> statement from the historical commission that they ap_ <br /> ptoved . <br /> Anh stated that, she roul-d draft- a letter. stating that the <br /> H. C endorsed the historic . district , and, preservation of <br /> the history of Mashpee ' s servicemen. <br /> 41 - Research Fees : Ann passed out an article from a magazine <br /> entitled , ffDon ' t Give it Away" - Planning a Research Policy <br /> for a Small Museum, and it states ghat the Lynn Museum did <br /> Ann suggested the - commissioners read this article, and sug- <br /> gested. that in the future,- if the H. C. were going to do <br /> something , the requestor should pay for it . Ann would life <br /> 'to draft a policy for the H. Co - <br /> This .issue will be discussed at -a future meeting. , <br /> D. New Commission Member : Ann had i -en to all of the members <br /> a copy of a letter of interest from David Yount. Ann re- <br /> le ed his. background . He would like to sit in on -a meet- <br /> ing . Ann felt it would be better for him to witness what <br /> the H. C. does at the Archives during their hours of opera- <br /> tion. <br /> ,Ann stated that Jim Moroney. will probably be out f-or an'other.j,• . <br /> six weeks . <br /> Ann felt that Miriam Estrella was going to offer them a great <br /> deal of time spent at the commission. <br /> Ann would like to see our next ,new member be able to Delp .the <br /> H.
