Annual inspections will <br /> be done next month and grounds gill be looked at to see if some landscaping <br /> improvements-can be made. <br /> AHVP: Mrs. Botsford reported that MHA has 5 AHVP recipients. One recipient <br /> recently passed away o we will be down to four next month. <br /> MRVP Mobile Vouchers. Mrs. Botsford reported that MHA has 26 mobile MRVP <br /> recipients. She reported that while entering all into the new database,, it was <br /> discovered that 8 landlords were given rent increases above the ceiling rent. All have <br /> been contacted and given the option to renew at the ceiling rent when the lease is up. <br /> It was also discovered that 6 landlords have been overpaid, some for quite some time. <br /> They have all been contacted and given the option to send in a check or to have the <br /> overpayment deducted from future rental payments. <br /> MRVP Project BasedVouchers: Mrs. Botsford reported that MHA has 24 Project <br /> Based voucher recipients. Mashpee tillage has reported three vacancies-one 1 <br /> bedroom , one 2.bedroom and one 3 bedroom. The one bedroom has already been <br /> filled and leased up. The first person selected off the fist for the 2 bedroom initially <br /> accepted and then changed her mind. The net people on the list have been selected <br /> and should be moving in sometime in June. Regarding the 4 bedroom unit, the first 3 <br /> people contacted did not respond and Mashpee Village said they didn't want to wait <br /> any longer and have filled it themselves. Ms. Rudd raised a concern because it had <br /> been agreed upon that all vacancies would be filled by our office. She suggested a <br /> letter be send to thein to reiterate our agreement, with a copy to Kevin Graham, State <br /> Auditor. Mrs. Botsford stated she would draft a letter and FAX to Ms. Rudd for review. <br /> Section : Mrs. Botsford reported that MHA has 20 Certificates and 4 Vouchers leased <br /> in Mashpee. <br /> H meyer pillage Resident nt Association: Ms. Burke reported that all was going well <br /> and that she has heard all good reports about Mrs. Botsford's performance. Nothing <br /> else to report. <br /> Old BusIness <br /> Elder Service/Senior Aide vacancy. Mrs. Botsford reported that she spoke to Betty <br /> Pease on two separate occasions to let her knows of our interest in having a volunteer. <br /> Presently she does not have anyone appropriate, but will continue to locate someone <br /> suitable. <br /> Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper position: Mrs. Botsford reported that she received <br /> 13 resumes and scheduled interviews with 5 people. Two people ended up canceling <br /> and of the 3 interviewed it was unanimously agreed upon by Ms. Botsford, Ms. Burke <br />
