Mrs. Botsford Wil meet with residents monthly for <br /> the net couple months-and then quarterly after that. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that the painting in the community area has all been done and <br /> annual inspections of all apartments will be scheduled for the beginning of April. <br /> Mrs. Botsford.reported that the housing authority had a hard time dealing vvith the last <br /> snow storm on February 25 and 26. She reported that the Town did not plow and the <br /> maintenance man was away so she and her husband did all the shoveling and salting <br /> and luckily were able to get a man to plow the driveway after he got done nth the <br /> church net door. <br /> Mrs. Botsford heard back from DHCD regarding the tenant who slipped and fell net to <br /> -his car and wanted to file a claim. DHCD informed me that he must write a letter to <br /> HCD describing the incident in detail, explaining why he feels the housing authority <br /> was negligent and specifically what he wants. This information has been passed on to <br /> the tenant but Mrs. Botsford has not heard anything more. <br /> Old Barnstable Road ?off : Mrs. Botsford reported that annual inspections have been <br /> done. Most units either passed or had minor problems except that all units have been <br /> having an ongoing problem with kitchen and bathroom Formica corning up. A local <br /> contractor has been asked to look at the problem and give us a proposal to fisc the <br /> problem. <br /> The eviction that was started due to the tenant having several cats is going to be <br /> pursued due to the fact that the tenant violated the court agreement that was entered <br /> into. <br /> A surrey was conducted to see what changes or improvements are important to the <br /> residents for the coming year. Most tenants wanted to see improved <br /> landscaping/lawns, a monthly newsletter, and most wanted to name the development. <br /> When weather gets better a walk around the grounds will be done to see what <br /> improvements can be done to the landscaping. A monthly newsletter was started and <br /> the first one event out March 1. <br /> Mise.: Ma hpee Housing Authority will have a booth at the Health Fair on March 25 at <br /> the center for Optimum care. Mrs. Botsford will be doing a presentation at the Senior <br /> Center on the 19th and helping the elderly fill out applications. A similar presentation <br /> open to all Mashpee residents is planned for the 24h of March. <br />
