T EASU EWS DEPORT: <br /> r <br /> Budget to Actual and Narrative: Mrs. Botsford provided treasurer's report including the Budget <br /> to Actual Report, prepared by the fee-accountant, and a written Bank Account Status report. <br /> [yrs. Botsford explained that the Budget to Actual report represents through the third month of <br /> the fiscal year and that vire are still using last years budget amounts since a new budget has not <br /> been done. Mrs, Botsford pointed out that the only line-item we were over on was <br /> 4510/Insurance. <br /> Accounts Payables: Payables totaling $6,266.32 were presented to the Board for review, <br /> approval and signatures. The warrant was presented to the chairperson for his signature. <br /> Rent elinguencies: Mrs. Botsford stated that all rents are paid in full at Homeyer Village and <br /> Breezy Acres. Homeyer Village and Breezy Acres are both at loo° occupancy <br /> notion was rade by Mr, Peoples-and seconded by rM Halpern to accept th.e <br /> treasurer's report as presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> EXECUTIVE I II E Tol "s REPORT: <br /> Mrs. Botsford remarked that she had mailed her reports to the board for the month of <br /> September. It is attached to these minutes as Attachment& <br /> Mrs, Botsford added the following report, which was briefly discussed: <br /> DHCD conducted inspections on Four of our units at Homeyer.pillage and 1 at Breezy <br /> Acres) on Tuesday, September 30, 2003. Inspections went well with the exception of a <br /> few minor repairs needed. <br /> • I attended a luncheon at fashee tillage as the request of Property. Manager, Larry <br /> Johnson. I continue to work closely with him to help as much as I can during this <br /> transition period. <br /> • I had a resident meeting early this.month to review and explain the budget process with <br /> then. No specific requests were made for property repairs/upgrades. <br /> • I have met with Alia Eld, Senior Aide, who has been volunteering here. She is doing a <br /> wonderful job and, since our budget will allow it, I ve negotiated a pay rate of$12.25 <br /> for 16 hours per creel, pending board approval, <br /> --OLD BUSINESS: Hone - - - <br /> -NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Adoption_of neer Section 8,Fair Market et Rents: Mrs. Botsford reviewed the HUD Section B Fair <br /> Market Rent schedule with the board and suggested that the board adopt a new voucher at <br /> 110% of the Fair Market Rents, as allowed by HUD. After a short discussion, a notion was <br /> made by Mr. Homeyer and seconded by Mr,, Peoples to adopt a new section <br /> Voucher Payment standard schedule at 1100 of the Fair Market Rents for the <br /> Mashpee area effective for November 1, 2003. The notion was adopted. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS: Mr. Halpern brought up the subject of setting goals to get more <br /> affordable housing in Mashpee, Ids. Botsford stated that the Asher's Path project is one of our <br /> current goals, and that is waiting for Federal funding, she mentioned that the authority's non- <br /> profi , the Mashpee Affordable Housing Trust, will be moving forward shortly with the <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br />
