EXECUTIVE L I ,E TOWS REPORT: <br /> Mrs. Botsford remarked that she had nailed her report to the board for the month of October <br /> and it is attached to these minutes as AtU m.. ,t_ 0 <br /> Mrs. Botsford added the following report, which was briefly discussed: <br /> Mrs. Botsford is scheduled for Jury duty on Wednesday, December 7. If she needs to <br /> serve more than one day, it could affect our meeting time next month, which is <br /> Thursday, December 8. She will Deep members posted. <br /> The housing authority received a small refund .00 from Workmen's Comp. <br /> Insurance company, after a successful audit, <br /> 0 one of the drier motors has burned out. A repairman estimated the cost of repair to be <br /> under $300,00, The repair is scheduled for tomorrow, <br /> 0 Mrs. Botsford will be attending the Fall Mass AHRO conference net Monday and <br /> Tuesday. Bourne Housing Authority has paid her registration fee. Originally she was <br /> not going to attend, but there are two sessions relating to small housing authorities and, <br /> being the price-president of SHAD (Small Housing Authority Directors Organization), <br /> she was urged to attend to give her input. <br /> 0 Mrs. Botsford reported that she went to the Brewster Housing Authority today to visit <br /> their HUD 202 site, which was done by Housing Assistance corporation. <br /> DHCD has issued new rent regulations and calculations for the AHVP Alternative <br /> Housing Voucher Program of which vire have one voucher. The changes will be <br /> implemented by Mrs. Botsford this month. <br /> After speaking with DHCD about the difficulties she has had with the management; at <br /> TCB Mashpee Village, Mrs. Basford was instructed to contact Mass Housing, who <br /> partially funds the TCB Mashpee Village site. She has been erarling one of the <br /> managers at Mass dousing, who is helping me with these issues. Mashpee Village has <br /> finally given us the three voucher we were due under the MVP Project Bases program, <br /> but there have also been issues about the tinning of giving us units, and their processed <br /> of tenant review and denial. TCB has suggested another meeting with Mrs. Botsford, <br /> which she has told them she would be more than happy to do. She is hoping this all <br /> gets worked out noir that Mass Housing is involved. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Executive Director Evaluation: The board and Mrs. Botsford then commenced a written <br /> evaluation of Mrs. Bot ford's performance. Six 6 five-year goals set in the year 2000 were <br /> first reviewed. It was found that Mrs* Botsford had met all of these goals. The written <br /> evaluation was done, which consisted of 13 questions to rate from poor to outstanding, and <br /> three goals to set, gays to measure the goals, and target dues for the goals. Mr. Laporte <br /> abstained from the portion of the evaluation that reviewed past performance, as he is too new <br /> to the authority to judge this. Mr. Laporte moved that progress on the three goals b <br /> reviewed In one year and that a full Executive Director evaluation be done in two <br /> years. Mr. Halpern seconded the motion. The notion was adopted. Mrs. Botsford <br /> thanked the board for such positive feedback and the compliments on the job she was doing, <br /> Mrs. Botsford stated that she would type the report and after she obtained the chair's <br /> signature, a copy will be provided to all board members. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Aher's Path/RFP Issuance: Mrs. Basford reviewed the drafted Request for Proposals that she <br /> had prepared and mailed previously to the board members.
