She thea stated she would not even
consider Gaffney Architects, Inc. She suggested consideration be
made as to who would best be able to accomodate the 1ashpee
project into their work flow.
Ms. Talmage ranked the architectural firms as follows
Powers and Company, Inc. as first choice, J. Stewart Roberts
Associates, Inc. as second, and Gaffney Architects, Inc. as
third.
The Chairman recognized Committee Member Ernest Cole, who
had also been present at the interviews, for his recommendation.
Mr. Cole spoke to Darlene Powers , excitement and enthusiasm
toward the project, the length of her interview and the fact that
no one wanted tointerrupt her presentation. - e seemed to b
very impressed by the meas she shared with the Conmittee. In
his estimation, Powers and Company, Inc. is definitely his first
choice for the project. He also agreed with Committee Members
that J. Stewart Roberts Associates, Inc. appears to be am ore than
capable,, and would probably do an excellent job, noting however
that Mr. Roberts lack the personality exhibited by Ms. Powers.
Mr. Cole further stated he was impressed by the preliminary
background work Ms. Powers has already completed. He stated
either one of the two firms would be satisfactory giving a lame
edge to Powers and Company, Inc. , ranking Gaffney Architects-,
Inc. as a third choice. lir.
