Mr. Wiseman <br /> said the gate would be closed after 10 A.M. except for emergencies. Mr. Wiseman said <br /> residents can call him directly with any problems on litter. Mr. Govoni moved to grant the <br /> renewal of Section 4, Ms. Hawver seconded, All agreed. Mr. Govoni noted that the <br /> decision should include the installation of the permanent barrier and conformance with the <br /> Police Chief's recommendations, <br /> Prime Properties Ltd. Partnershi -Requests a Variance from Section 174-31 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the sideline setback requirements in an R-5 zoning <br /> district on property located at 25 Sheffield Place (Map 29, Block 176)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Members sitting; E. Govoni, C, Hawver, J, Dorgan <br /> Mr. Regan stepped down from the Board for this hearing. Engineer John Slavinsky <br /> represented the applicant. He explained that a foundation had been poured 12 feet from <br /> the lot line in error. He said the site had been a stump dump and the soil is highly organic <br /> and that the shape and topography of the lot prevented placement in any other location. <br /> The house on the adjoining lot has been placed 30 feet off of the side lot line to allow a <br /> greater distance between the two houses. <br /> Mr, Dorgan moved to grant a Variance of 3 feet to allow a side line setback of 12 feet. <br /> Mr. Govoni seconded. He explained that he had just <br /> returned from vacation and had contacted one of the members of the Deer Crossing <br /> Condominium owners association and understood that other members were at the <br /> meeting.. He said they are proposing a hoop house on the property and a display of <br /> outdoor furniture for temporary use of the site until the master plan for the area is <br /> completed. <br /> Mr. Govoni explained that he had notified the Deer Crossing Association since they do not <br /> appear on the abutters' list. He also explained that there will be a police officer on <br /> weekends at the corner of Donna's Lane and Route 28. Comments were received from <br /> members of the Deer Crossing Association questioning the appearance and the traffic, <br /> Mr. Renz thought the increase in traffic would be minimal, A representative of the <br /> company leasing the space said their experience at a Dennis location is approximately five <br /> cars at a time. <br />
