Gonella which had been approved <br /> by the Water District for use of part of the land for storage <br /> of boats/vehicles . <br /> Judy Mills said that this board has the power under d Special <br /> Permit to require road improvement . She staked that the Board <br /> could condition .:.be permit to require owners to participate in <br /> the improvement of the roads . <br /> Mr . Friel explained that the Town has had four buoinesses lail <br /> on that road . He said the Board had new owners coming in <br /> trying to start new businesses . He said there is no mechanism <br /> in place for the road improvement and the Town will be driving <br /> them out again unLoss they can come up wiKk a joint plan among <br /> themselves . He said he would not want to condition their <br /> special permits . <br /> Ms . Mills explained that the liquor license on the road was <br /> conditioned by the Selectmen to require road improvemont . <br /> Nancy Caffyn, a Nashpee selectman, reviewed the liquor liconse <br /> renewal and the conditions imposed . Mr . Makunas asked if Town <br /> Counsel had submitted the conditions in wriking and requos ked <br /> that the Board receive a copy . <br /> Mr . Govonj said that if the road must be brought up to the <br /> Town specifications it would be expensive . Ms . Caffyn said <br /> this was not required , Mr. Govoni said all permits should he <br /> worded the same , <br /> Mr . Govoni moved to grant the Special Permit after considoring <br /> the wording which might help in upgrading the road . Mr . Friel, <br /> seconded subject to the review of the language . All agreed . <br />
