Lastly, Ms. Smola said there "appears t0 be a breakdown <br /> in communication and/or delineation of which personnel <br /> are clearly responsible for what." <br /> Ted O'Rourke discussed concerns regarding last year's budget <br /> process. <br /> Mr. Flury responded to both speakers stating he agreed with <br /> their concerns but said "significant improvements" have been <br /> made this year noting that the new computer system connected to <br /> Town Hall has been a major issue. All efforts are being made to <br /> rectify the above-listed concerns. <br /> V. Acknowledgments 5.1 Molly Hirshberg Fund - $777.00 - Mrs. Hill <br /> acknowledged this donation to help purchase three <br /> Second Step Curriculum Kits. <br /> 5.2 Verizon - $3,500 (high school t ehnol0g - This is another <br /> donation to aid technology plans at the high school. <br /> VI. Communications There were no communications to the School Committee this <br /> evening. <br /> VII. Student Advisory Student Advisory Council representative, Ryle Hunt, was unable <br /> Council to attend tonight's meeting. <br /> VIII. Report of the 8.1 Personnel - Mr. Fluery informed the Committee of the <br /> Superintendent following personnel issues: <br /> Appointments.-, <br /> Nicholas Brigham- Computer Technician <br /> Yz <br /> �gh School.- <br /> Deborah Contrino- Maternity Leave <br /> K rri Brodie- Return from Maternity Leave <br /> Dante Daio•- Long-term Substitute (Project Able) . <br /> William Brown- Long-term Substitute (Susan Lo hiatto) <br /> David Pros- Long-terra Substitute (Deborah ontrino) <br /> Janet Walsh - .6 FTE Receptionist <br /> Mr. Fluery discussed the request for an elementary school <br /> clerical assistant who would do the copying for the <br /> teachers. The total number of hours per week would b <br /> 16 hours and 15 minutes. This person would divide their <br /> time between the Coombs School and the Quashnet <br /> School. <br />
