She outlined upcoming events for families. <br /> vill. Report of the 8.1 Personnel—Mr.Fluery informed the Committee of the following personnel <br /> Superintendent issues: <br /> Appointments: <br /> Ellen Ferguson—Business Office Supervisor <br /> Devin Conniff- .5 Maintenance <br /> Randy Peters—High School Custodian <br /> Resignations- <br /> Niki <br /> esignat ons:Niki Bills--High School Teacher Assistant <br /> Retirementsfor 2002: <br /> David Fitzgerald—High School Teacher <br /> Marlene Andre—High School Teacher(revised from January 7,2002 meeting) <br /> Marie Frank—Quashnet Teacher <br /> Lynda Clark--Quashnet Teacher <br /> Leave o `Ab sen e: <br /> Kerry Risberg—Quashnet School(Maternity Leave) <br /> .2 Administrative Re its - Discussion followed regarding the size of the <br /> network versus the number of computers in the schools. It is becoming more evident <br /> the network is too small to handle all of the computers in the school system. It was <br /> suggested that the Network Administrator obtain a proposal from an outside company <br /> seeking costs to enlarge the network to accommodate all computers. <br /> . Enrollments — Mr. Fluery updated the Committee on the latest school <br /> enrollments. They were as follows: Coombs School — 543; Quasbnet School — 802; <br /> Mashpee High School 939. There are currently 47 Mashpee students attending Cape <br /> Cod Tech. <br /> 8.4 Out-of-School Suspensions — In grade 7, there were 8 students suspended <br /> during the month of Januar} and in Grade 8,there were 2. In grade 9, there were 9 out <br /> f school suspensions;grade 10,2;grade 11, ;and grade 12,3 during January. <br /> 8.5 CoombsSchool Improvement Plan}2001-2002 School Year—This topic was <br /> discussed earlier in the meeting. <br /> 8.6 High School Program ofStudies, 2002-2003 School Year -- Nigh School <br /> Principal Ira Brown detailed the revisions to the 2002-2003 Program of Studies booklet. <br /> After his presentation, a motion was made by Mr.Caswell,seconded by Mrs. Mills,to <br /> approve the high School Program of Studies,2002-2003 School Year. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br />
