Coombs School—546; Quashnet School—804;High School—936 with <br /> total district enrollment of 2,286. There are currently 47 Mashpee students attending <br /> Cape Cod Tech. <br /> 8.4 Out-of-School Suspensions — Grade 7 reported five suspensions; Grade 8, <br /> suspensions;Grade 9, 10 suspensions; Grade 10, 1 suspension;Grade 11, I suspension; <br /> and Grade 1 ,7 suspensions. <br /> 8.5 CommissioningZDecommissioning.-.of.Employees P lie .— This is a first <br /> reading for this new policy which outlines steps that will be talon regarding receipt and <br /> collection ofschl property. <br /> This policy will be voted upon at the April regular meeting. <br /> .6 "Pest Management" — Policy EBA — Motion made by Mrs. Mills, seconded <br /> by Mr.Thins,to approve this policy. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> .7 "Physical Restraint of Students"—P lie JI AA—Motion made by Mrs. Mills, <br /> seconded by Mr.Thomas,to approve this policy. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 8.8 Demonstration of ID Card Sstrn — In an effort to increase security in the <br /> school system, an identification card system has been instituted. Mr. Tarlow discussed <br /> how this procedure will be addressed. Tonight School Committee members were given <br />' the opportunity to have their ID cards made. <br /> .9 Air National Guard Visit—Quashnet School Principal Bob Tippo reported on <br /> a project that grade six students participated in as a tribute to pilus and others who fly <br /> over the Quashnet School. Following the September 11f tragedy, students wanted t <br /> acknowledge the pilus who pass over the school so they placed an American flag atop <br /> the school in support of U. S. efforts. The pilus, who were thankful to the students in <br /> showing their support, later visited the school to address the students and staff. � <br /> i <br /> 8.10 Team Teachin —Mr. Brown presented a proposal to the Committee regarding <br /> seventh grade teaming. In it,Mr. Brown describes the positives as well as the questions <br /> and concerns raised in teaming. <br /> After discussion this proposal, a motion was made by Mr. Caswell, seconded by Mrs. <br /> Mills,to adopt the grade 7 teaming for the 2002-2003 school year. <br /> VO'T'E: Unanimous <br /> 8.11 Senior Final Exam Exemption Proposal —lir.
