x 7 MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE REORGANIZATION, REGULAR MEETING AND FY03 BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING JUNE 12,2002 Minutes Attendees: Janice Mills, Mollie Reis, Peter Thomas, DonnaJ an Lopez. Ben Caswell arrived at 6:35 p.m. Also in attendance were Superintendent of School Sherwood Flu ry and Business Administrator Michael Tarlow. I. Call Meeting to Order—As Chairman,Pro Tem,Mr.Flu ry called the School Committee"s Committee" reorganization Superintend nt— meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. in the Quashnet School Library. Chairman,Pro Tem) II. School Committee 2.1 Election of Chair-Mr.Flu ry asked for nominations for School Committee Organization Chairman for the 2002-2003 school year. Motion made by Mr.Thomas, seconded by Mrs. Lopez,to nominate Mrs. Mills a School Committee Chairman for the 2002-2003 school year. VOTE: Unanimous .2 Election of Vice Chair—Motion made by Mrs. Lopez,seconded by Mrs. Reis, to nominate Mr.Thomas as Vice Chair. VOTE: Unanimous .3 Election of Secretary— Motion made by Mrs. Lopez, seconded by Mr. Thomas,to nominate firs.Reis as Secretary. VOTE: Unanimous 10111. Executive Session Motion made by Mr.Thomas, seconded by Mr.Caswell,to move into executive session t 6:36 p.m. for the purpose of personnel and negotiations. Roll Call Vote: In favor—Mrs. Mills, Mr. Thomas,Mrs. Reis, Mr. Caswell, and Mrs. Lopez;opposed—none.
