Acknowledgments 5.1 Melissa Murphy—Film Festival—Mrs. Cook gave kudos to Media Arts <br /> Director Miss Murphy for her efforts and support for the very successful "Film <br /> Festival"that was recently held. <br /> .2 Ellen Ferguson — Retirement — Mrs. Cook, once again, commended <br /> Business Office Supervisor Ellen Ferguson for the -12 years she spent in the <br /> business office prior to her retirement. <br /> 5.3 Patrick Cult — National High School Honor Choir -- Mrs. Cook <br /> acknowledged Patrick's acceptance to sing in the 2005 American Choral <br /> Director's Association "National nal High School Honor Choir." He will sing at <br /> the Staples Center and the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles <br /> during the first week in February 2005. <br /> 5. I Glenn Hapen — urnismati c Association Midd le School Teacher <br /> Scholarship — Mrs. Cook congratulated high school teacher Mr. Hap nny as a <br /> recipient of an American Numismatic Association Middle School Teacher <br /> Scholarship. He will travel to San Diego, CA from December 2 -January 1, <br /> 2005 for this event. <br /> 5.5 "B.E.A.I . Faire" Participants — Letter from Mrs. I l — Coombs <br /> School Principal Mrs. Doyle commended J y Smith, Ann English, I avi n <br /> Gould, Mary Crimmins,,Toy Blackwood, Chris Robello and Diane Kingsley for <br /> the hard work on this event held on November 1 , 2004 at the Coombs School. <br /> 'LSI. Communications There were n "Communications"'this evening. <br /> VII. Student Advisory Student Advisory Council representative Kim Crosby reported on some of the <br /> Council upcoming high school events including the "PowderpuffFootball Game" to be <br /> held on December 17'h at 2:00; Christmas in Italy is slated for December 15th <br /> from 5:00-7:00 p.m.; the senior class is selling Christmas trees at True Value <br /> again this year; "Up the Down Staircase" will be during the upcoming <br /> weekend; the Honor Roll Breakfast was held this morning <br /> VIII. Report ofthe Mrs. P ris i asked to move Mrs. Bla l ocl's "Savings Makes Cents <br /> Superintendent Program"as the first item under her report. <br /> .5 Quasbnet School Savings_Maks Cents Program — JBlackwood — <br /> Iath Coordinator Mrs. Blackwood explained this program whereby students <br /> are taught the necessary skills to make financially sound decisions.
