The elimination of a <br /> guidance counselor through attrition at the Coombs School will be the <br /> funding source for this position. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Romkey, seconded by Mr. McNamara, to increase <br /> grade 1 to seven sections thus necessitating another grade 1 teacher. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 10.1.4 New One-ori-One Teacher Assistant at Coombs School — Mrs. <br /> Bradshaw explained the need to hire a person for this position. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Thomas, seconded by Mrs. Mills, to approve hiring <br /> one-- n-one teacher assistant at the Coombs School. <br /> VT : Unanimous <br /> 10.1 Personnel — Mrs. Bradshaw informed the Committee of the <br /> following personnel issues: <br /> High S hook <br /> Diane Blume—Spanish Teacher(replacing David Fitzgerald) <br /> Matthew Tri eri—Summer School Director <br /> Food Service: <br /> Lisa Cintr n—high school <br /> Resignations.- <br /> Angel Cutler—high school special education teacher <br /> Phyllis Jones—1 GC paraprofessional <br /> Joy Adams—ESL Tutor <br /> Casey Figueroa—Indian Educator Tutor <br /> 10.2 Administrative Reports — Mr. Thomas reiterated his request t <br /> include the School Resource Officer's monthly report in every packet. <br /> Mrs. Grady gave kudos s to the "Life Legacy" project as reported in Media <br /> Arts Director r Melissa Murphy's report. <br /> 10.3 Report on Bomb Scare--- Mrs. Bradshaw said the investigations into <br /> the recent bomb scares have concluded and appropriate administrative <br /> action based on the student handbook has been taken. <br /> 10.4 Enrollments -- Mrs. Bradshaw reported the following school <br /> enrollments: Coombs School—481; Quashnet School— 4; Mashpee High <br /> School—988. There are currently 47 Mashpee students attending Cape Cod <br /> Tech. <br /> 10.5 Out-of-School Suspensions — During the month of May, the <br /> following statistics were provided on high school suspensions: Grade 7 — ; <br /> Grade 8—9; Grade 9— 10; Grade 1 —3; Grade 11 — ; and Grade 1 — 1. <br />
