Also, there are currently 41 Mashpee students attending Cape Cod <br /> Tech. <br /> Mrs. Grady asked to have special education enrollments included in next <br /> month's enrollment page. These figures will be by school. <br /> 12.4 Out-of-School Suspensions — Out-of-School suspensions for the <br /> following high school grades: Grade 7, 2; Grade 8, 1; Grade 9, 10; Grade <br /> 1 , 6; Grade 10, ; Grade 11, 3; and Grade 12,2. <br /> 12.5 Strate is Plan Update—Provide enrichment tL <br /> o <br /> f eveU n vertical enrichmeno—High School Principal Mrs. Lou <br /> Ann St. Cyr and Administrator of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment � <br /> Ellen Bankston presented an update ofthe Strategic Plan as follows: Mrs. <br /> Bankston said there are three objectives affiliated ith Student Support <br /> Services. They are: 1 improve college admissions; 2 improve Advanced <br /> Placement program; and 3 Begin Art and Music Honor Societies at <br /> Mashpee High School. Mrs. St. Carr and Ms. Bankston each explained the <br /> detailed components of the above objectives. <br /> XIII. Specifically Assigned/ 13.1 200 7-2008 School Calendar—Mrs. Grady mentioned that the <br /> Unfinished Business Superintendent's office will remain open during the 2007-2008 Christmas <br /> vacation week. Mr. Thomas questioned if the Superintendent's office would <br /> be open on Christmas Eve (December 24, 2047) and New Year's Eve <br /> (December 1, 2447). Mrs. Grady said the office would be closed on those � <br /> two days. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Thomas, to approve the 2007- <br /> 2008 school calendar. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> XIV. New Business Mrs. Mills mentioned instituting a recycling program in the school system. <br /> She suggested Food Service Administrative Assistant Maureen Paxton and <br /> Department ofPublic Works Assistant Director Catherine Laurent be on <br /> committee to discuss recycling initiatives. Mashpee High School science <br /> teacher Tom Hppensteadt was also mentioned as serving on this <br /> committee. <br /> XV. Committee Reports 15.1 Sub-Committee Deports <br /> 15.1.1 Negotiations — Mrs. Grady said meetings with [knit <br /> representatives are progressing while Unit A is slated to meeting on <br /> March th <br /> 15.1.2 Policy — The meeting scheduled for March 8 1h was. cancelled but <br /> will be rescheduled at the end of March. <br /> 15.1.3 Bud et—This topic was discussed earlier. <br />
