2 <br /> .2 Revolving Account- Mr. Brown explained that in the lost boob account the <br /> amount of$35,000.00 is a typo; the amount is approximately $1,000.00. He also <br /> explained that athletic gate receipts increased due to funds received. <br /> Mr. Brown explained that in response to Mrs. Mills request at the last meeting, he <br /> has provided a break don of the rental account. <br /> Mrs. Bradshaw explained that $10,000 would be put toward the Performing Arts <br /> Center. <br /> 2.2 Lunch Program- Mr. Bron explained that May was an outstanding month <br /> for the lunch program. Some of this is due to the fact that bills are paid one <br /> month behind. Thea is still one outstanding warrant for $8000.00 to be paid <br /> which will shove up in June. <br /> Mrs. Grady discussed that she had spoken to Mr. Scott and that he has concerns <br /> over Energy Education. He is concerned that the water vending machines will be <br /> turned off over the summer. Mr. Brown said he would spear to Mr. Fripp and <br /> } Mr. Scott to find a resolution. <br /> .2 Circuit Breaker- Mr. Brown stated that he has done an encumbrance for-the <br /> month of June. There was a student who went into placement at the end of May. <br /> The last payment will come through on ,Tune- tri, Mr. Brown stated that he has <br /> been able to unencumber some funds such as utilities to help cover the negative <br /> balance. <br /> III. Update on Wind Turbine- Mr. Brown read a letter by the Massachusetts <br /> Technology Collaborative for a municipal wind site survey. There was some <br /> discussion about the wind turbine. There is no cost to the school at present. <br /> Iv. Update on Wastewater Permit- Mr. Brown reported that in the packet there is <br /> a copy of a final permit for the Waste Vater treatment plant. Mr. Brown has filed <br /> another appeal. Fast time the appeal was not accepted clue to the fact that it was a <br /> draft permit. Mr. Brown stated that there is a need for a replacement filter at the <br /> treatment plant which is estimated to cost approximately $15,000.00. He also <br /> stated that having met with Mr. Haskell, the most pressing item is the filter system <br /> and there is also a need for UV light. <br /> V, Medicaid Update- Mrs. Bradshaw explained that this reimbursement is for <br /> certain medical type services that the school provides for students. In the past, <br /> this was contracted out to a vendor. One of the ways the school planned to save <br /> money this year was to do this in house this year. This proved to be far more <br /> complicated than expected. Mrs. Bradshaw explained that she was grateful <br /> the town accountant notified the school that funds had not been received this' year. <br /> total o $240,000 in new claims has been processed. This, combined with the <br /> $60,000 that has been received so far, equals 00,000.00. Where are still two <br /> more claims to submit. Mrs. Bradshaw hopes this will equal the $350,000 the <br /> Mashpee School Committee Finance Meeting June 20, 2007 <br />
