I The District has prepared a BMG Scope of Services attached hereto as Addendum <br /> 'C'. This scope of services provides a detailed schedule of the building and <br /> grounds services currently provided to the District by BMG staff. This Scope of <br /> Services represents an acceptable level of services to be delivered by the Town to <br /> the District after the Consolidation. The District reserves the right to supplement <br /> this Scope of Services and submit the same to the Town Manager for joint <br /> consideration subsequent to the execution of this Memorandum, as necessary. <br /> 2 Without limiting the scope of Addendum 'C', it is agreed that the maintenance <br /> and repair of all roadways, sidewalks, and paved surfaces located on District <br /> grounds will be the responsibility of the Department of Public Works. The <br /> Department of Public Works shall use best efforts to assure that all roadways, <br /> sidewalks and paved surfaces shall be plowed, repaired and repaved by the Town <br /> in a manner which allows for the timely opening of schools, avoids any <br /> unnecessary school closings or early dismissals, and avoids any unnecessary <br /> interruption of scheduled activities on District grounds. <br /> 3 Without limiting the scope of Addendum 'C', it is agreed that the maintenance <br /> and repair of all playgrounds, playing fields and athletic facilities which are <br /> located on District grounds will be the responsibility of the Department of Public <br /> Works The Department of Public Works shall use best efforts to assure that all <br /> playgrounds, playing fields and athletic facilities shall be maintained and repaired, <br /> including but not limited to all landscaping, mowing, and field markings, in a <br /> manner which allows for all scheduled use and activities scheduled for the District <br /> for these fields and facilities <br /> 4 The District has prepared a Custodial Scope of Services attached hereto as <br /> Addendum 'D'. This scope of services provides a detailed schedule of the <br /> ordinary custodial services currently provided to the District by the Custodial <br /> staff. This Scope of Services represents an acceptable level of services to be <br /> delivered by the Town to the District after the Consolidation. The District <br /> reserves the right to supplement this Scope of Services and submit the same to the <br /> Town Manager for joint consideration subsequent to the execution of this <br /> Memorandum, as necessary. <br /> 5 The Facilities Supervisor shall meet with the Town Manager, the Public Works <br /> Director and the Superintendent on a semi-annual basis for the purpose of <br /> developing and implementing a maintenance, upkeep, and repair schedule and <br /> work order system. This schedule of work shall determine priorities of work to <br /> ensure that the needs of both the Town and the District are being met. A report <br /> shall be produced as a result of each such meeting and presented to the School <br /> Committee. <br /> 3. Wastewater Treatment Facility <br /> The parties hereby agree and acknowledge that control and responsibility for the <br /> 4 <br />
