Matt Costa, cape and Island Engineering, represented the applicant. He explained there is ars <br /> existing single family dwelling with brick walks, patios, landing, fences, lawn and landscape areas. <br /> The proposal is to construct an attached one car garage and all work will be within previously <br /> legally disturbed area. <br /> The Agent stated the plan should include the work limit and any drywells that will capture the <br /> runoff. He showed the site on photos and where the garage is to be built. He noted a cherry tree <br /> will be removed. <br /> No comment from the public <br /> Motion: Mr. sweet moved a Negative [determination, seconded by Mr. smith. Vote <br /> unanimous 5-0 <br /> 6:0 E. Michael and Arlene Sullivan, 404 Monornoscoy Road. Proposed construction of <br /> garage, septic system upgrade, tree removal, and paved driveway RBA <br /> Motion: Mr. Sweet moved at the request of the applicant to continue the hearing until <br /> February 22, 2018 @ 6;12 p.m., seconded by Chad smith. Vote unanimous 5-0 <br /> 6:06 Gloria L. Clough, Trustee, 211 Daniels Island Road. Proposed hardscape :.'modifications <br /> and construction of outdoor rinse station and storage bin. RDA <br /> Motion: Mr. sweet moved at the request of the applicant to continue the hearing until <br /> February 22, 2018 @ 6:0p.m., seconded by Chad smith. Vote unanimous -o <br /> :09 Verne T. Porter, Jr. 23 Riverside Road. Proposed reconstruction of bulkhead gall <br /> within the sane footprint. RISA <br /> Resource Areas: Land lender ocean, snit marsh, L csF, Land Containing shellfish, BVW <br /> Mark Burtis, Little River Boatyard, represented the applicant. He stated the request is for the <br /> reconstruction of a bulkhead wall. He reviewed the plan he provided to the Commissioners. He <br /> said last year he presented the same plan for the property abutting this property which would be a <br /> continuation of this gall. The Agent was concerned that this is an RDA without the benefit of an <br /> engineering plan. He was concerned with the salt :marsh encroachment. He suggested the <br /> Commission request an engineering plan showing the resource areas and where the salt marsh is <br /> and to have a detailed construction :methodology to go with it. The Commission needs to see <br /> where that footprint is going and suggested the applicant come back with an Not. He noted based <br /> on the chapter 91 plan, the salt marsh wasn't prevalent and if you start digging there without DBP <br /> being notified that could be a violation. He said he was being cautious and through an Nol, DBP <br /> will be notified and will have the opportunity to comment on it. He felt approving it without a Notice <br /> of Intent may result in adverse impacts, <br /> Mr. Burgess requested, on behalf of the applicant, a withdrawal of this application. <br /> Motion: Mr. Sweet moved the acceptance of the withdrawal, seconded by Mr. Smith. Vote <br /> unanimous 5-0 <br /> 6:12 Garrison Development LLC, 17 Alma Road. Proposal to Amend order of Conditions 43- <br /> 2855 to allow for construction of a single-family dwelling, garage and septic system.
