Chuck Roland, Sullivan Engineering, represented the applicant. He stated the proposed project is <br /> to resurface the existing pool} rebuild the patio terrace in the existing footprint, construct an outdoor <br /> rinse station and trash storage bin. All the work is located within a level area in the buffer to the <br /> coastal bank. The pool and patio terrace work are to be in the same footprint. The existing pooi <br /> will be resurfaced and the stone in the patio area will be removed and new stone will be put down. <br /> They will also be installing a trash container and an outside shower. The Agent noted if the shower <br /> is enclosed the applicant will need to speak with Board of Health. He reviewed the area of the <br /> proposed project on photos. He said this project has <br /> already been issued an Order of Conditions for a new hone, hardscape, mitigation plantings. <br /> None of that has been changed. This proposal deals with the buffer zone that the landscaper <br /> didn't want to address. He shoved on photos the area that is infested with phragmites and <br /> invasive vines. They will also be removing some non-native plants and replacing therm with native <br /> plants. He gave the details on hover they treat the phragmites. They do one application the first <br /> year and spot treatment the second year. The Agent showed the existing conditions. He noted the <br /> apple tree and the dead oak that will be removed. He noted this proposal will increase the wildlife <br /> habitat in the area.
