Resource Area. Buffer Zone to coastal Bank, LSCSF
Raul Li ardi-I ivero, PE, cape and Island Engineering, represented the applicant. He stated the
original proposal is to improve the driveway, remove five trees and three yews and replant with
privet hedges. They will also install a cobblestone apron and remove the chain link fence. After
reviewing the project with the conservation Agent, only two trees will be removed because
originally the driveway was straight and now it will go around the trees. The Agent clarified there is another plan forthcoming to reduce the some to
removing two trees. He said since this is a reduction in the scope he didn't see a need for a
continuance. He said the two trees that are to be removed are hemlocks which are doing poorly.
Mr. Lizardi-1 ivero submitted the updated the new plans.
No comment from the public
Motion: Mr. sweet moved a Legative Bete rrn l na b n, seconded by Mr. Smith. In the meantime, they hired
an environmental engineering firm lead the project forward. He attended a meeting at the Rod and
Gun club to go over phase one which is the drafting of these conceptual designs but not taking
any formal permitting action yet.
