2 <br /> Fire Station Building Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> March 27, 2000 <br /> Clerk of the works <br /> It was noted that the duties required for the position of Clerk ofthe <br /> Works are similar to the duties, which are contained in the job description <br /> of the Assistant Building Inspector. <br /> Russell wheeler, the .Assistant Building Inspector is in agreement with <br /> his overtime assignment as Clerk of the works. <br /> The issue will be placed before the Board of Selectmen on this date <br /> for final approval. <br /> Standen Contracting Coni an <br /> John Marshall,the Project Manager is scheduled to meet with the <br /> Director of Public works on Thursday,March 30,. 2000 to review <br /> site issues relative to sub-grade preparation and procedure. <br /> It was noted that the contract between the Town of Iashpee and <br /> Standen Contracting Company has been approved to form b <br /> Town Counsel with minor language modifications. <br /> The builder is expected to meet with Elias McQuaid, Board of Health <br /> Agent review information relative to the permitting process. It was noted <br /> that the Board of Health would require a formal set of plans to review <br /> septic and drainage issues. <br /> The minority business documentation has not been received to slate. <br /> Wallace Floyd Design Group: <br /> Mark Pittsler,Project Architect indicated that the permit application y <br /> would be submitted to the Inspector of Buildings this week. The <br /> Director of Assessing provided necessary site information to the architect <br /> to assist with the completion of the permit application process. <br />
