Evaluation: The Committee sets a financial goal and produces public relations materials that can <br /> be used in the Capital Campaign. <br /> Action: Continue holding fundraising events to increase community awareness of the library's project. <br /> Schedule some affordable events that any resident can attend so they can become part of the library's <br /> financial supporters. <br /> Evaluation: Schedule at least two events which are affordable for families and people on limited <br /> income. <br /> Action: Fundraising Committee develops a donor recognition program and decides how larger donors <br /> will be acknowledged. <br /> Action: Explore sources of funding for museum passes for children, approaching local clubs and <br /> organizations to adopt a particular pass. <br /> Goal 3: Library Director remains current on the availability of grants the library is eligible for. <br /> Action: Library Director continues to monitor availability of grant funding programs for capital projects. <br /> Action: Library Director works with other Town Departments like the Planning Office,Town Clerk's <br /> Office and Assessor's Office to develop the statistical data needed to accompany a building grant <br /> application. <br /> Evaluation measure: The Library Director works with other Town Departments and produces <br /> statistical exhibit sheets which can be added to grant applications to demonstrate local need for <br /> outside funding. <br /> Action: Children's Librarian monitors opportunities for grants for improvements in Children and Youth <br /> services. <br /> Action: Library Director reports to the Library Trustees and the Town Administrator on the progress of <br /> the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners' Capital Grant Program <br /> Goal J: Building Committee and the Library Director continue work on the library expansion <br /> project. <br /> Action: Building Committee expands membership of the committee up to 13 members, seeking people <br /> who have skills that would enhance the makeup of the committee. <br />
