Friend's of the Library <br /> Friends website will not be available for viewing until end of App due to regulations since host changed. <br /> Shelly informed the Trustees that he put a package together to be used in seeking donations from prominent citizens. <br /> Shelly passed the material around for the Trustees to view and provide their.input. He said another package would be in <br /> the newsletter seeking all donations. Shelly pointed out that the most important-thing now is to seek large donations for <br /> the library and Barbara I otarius needs a list of possible prominent donors. 'The consensus of the Trustees was that the <br /> package presentation was very well done. Carlo D'Este will take the drafted package to Joel to ask hien for his <br /> suggestions on hove it should loop. Carlo suggested that a picture of the new library on the front of the package would <br /> give folks ail idea of what it will loop like. <br /> Shelly mentioned that the Falmouth Library offered wall Mile at$too per tiie as a fandrais r. They have a beautiful the <br /> wall display ...raised o,000 at cost of$ oo/tile. <br /> David read an'update report he received from Barbara Notmius. included Wn the report was a statement that Friends will <br /> have a set-up next to Chamber of Commerce shed for drop off of,books and for sale of books as fimdraiser. He said <br /> Barbara is looking for volunteers for July casino night event. feather said Touch-a-Truck event would be held Mother's <br /> Day weekend.. She said 20-25 trucks are con`wined. It will be at the High School where the Mashpee liwannis Club <br /> will also be hosting a bike rodeo event. <br /> Liobraa t'ro' t <br /> Daviel thanked Nancy Soderberg for attending the April 0 Plan ng and Construction Cottee Meeting and for <br /> providing notes on the meeting to the Trustees. This really keeps the Trustees updated on the Library project. Helene <br /> also mentioned that she is really pleased with Rick pomroy as Project Manager. She said-he has aligned all the Board <br /> Hearings that have to be dealt with and is getting us on the schedule. <br /> Nancy Soderberg asked: WiR any of the shrubbery outside be able to be saved? Helene said that de hely the <br /> memorial trees will be saved and if something can't be then they'll transplant someplace else within Town. Carlo said <br /> he will send Steve Allanby a note because Stege had said there are about 6 trees that should not be destroyed and they <br /> can be in temporary storage. Helene mentioned that a landscape architect would be coming to look at what can be saved <br /> and/or re-used. <br /> Library Trustee Members...So far,no one has taken out papers to fill the vacancy. <br /> New Business <br /> The Friends would like to hold a big book sale here at the current library building after we move out.
