DeFoe, From: Janet Burke Re: Monthly Report Rosemary Modic, our Early Childhood Specialist from the Upper Cape Family Network, resumed Toddle Time in the month of September. Because of limited space, we have decided to make Toddle Time me a registered story time and limit the group to 10 children. We have increased the niamber of times v cable from two to three. We,now offer Toddle Time on-Mondays at 930, 10:15 and 11:00. The attendance. The Annum Walk to Read Fundraiser-was held on Se tember 21 , Feather did a wonderful.job orgamzmg this successful event. The Children's Department contributed with face painting and a craft.activity. On September 1 I attended a workshop-att the Upper Cape Cod Regional.Technical School on how to use MicrosoftPublisher. It wa telpful to have someone walk me through a program that I aready have on my computer. I-now have a working knowledge ofPublisher. _ As a member ofthe Mashpee Cultural Council, I organized an open House which was held at the library on Septrber 1 The ember of the open Mouse was to inform the community about the Mashp ee Cultural Council and to provide assistance in completing the grant application. Roche Brothers donated the refreshments and the NWhpee Commons Florist donated the floral centerpiece} we had 218-attendees and many of these were from the 1 t shp ee schools. We discussed our Cape-Wide Family Event to take place in February, leach and stead Program,, Teen Pro g, and highlights of summer events.
