The attendance ce vias: August 2nd Toddle Time 40 August 9th Toddle Time 48 August 16 1n Toddle Time 80 (Yes, that's 80!- It was raining.) The Boys and Girls Club has been making a weekly visit to the library for a story time conducted by their counselors. This is part of a summer grant that The Boys and Girls Club received. The library's in kind donation is use of the Program Boom. In previous years, the Scrabble Club was quite popular and tended to grog each week as students mould bring more friends. However, thisy ear the Scrabble Club never quite got off the ground. Participation was limited'. and those who-did participate were not from Mashpee. Being in the Children's Room has made it impossible for me to connect with young adults who frequent our library. These patrons go upstairs and I never see thea. In order to be an effective Young Adult librarian, and offer programming for this audience, you need to build a rapport with therm.
