The membership is planning to vote on <br /> acquiring this new feature at the April meeting, The expense of this new technology will be <br /> covered by the CLAMS reserve fund.. <br /> On February 29, 1 attended the CLAIMS Digital Resources Committee meeting, which is <br /> .tasked with the responsibility of selecting and recommending resources to the entire <br /> membership. It was meed that-the com m..itt a.should not forward and begin the vendor <br /> selection process,until the MAssachusetts Board of Library Commissioners and <br /> Massachusetts Library System has completed their review of resources, and announces which <br /> resources it plans to fund on the state level, once that information has been confwmcd, the <br /> CLAMS consortium can consider-purchasing-additional resources for local use.
