The Town Planner stated there is no connection between the
two. There are twelve acres of Town conservation land between
Deer Crossing and the Breen Development. There will not be
road connection on that side.
The Town Planner`- informed the Committee of a meeting held
with the Deer Crossing Association in the spring, at which time
he introduce three potential connections with lashpee Commons
Market Street,- an emergency connection to the rear a gated, dint
goad sufficient for Fire Department access) ; and a connection
proposed toward the front of the project, Dr. Canning' s
commercial property) . Keeping it in
mind as a potential connection, however does make sense.
Selectman Diniio stressed the importance of planning
together, including input from not only Mashpee Commons, but
1ashpee Town Planner~ and the Consultant, as well . If the
connector road Canning property) is deemed beneficial, all
parties involved should work together towards that outcome.
Ann Hastings, Deer Crossing: Pointed out the fire lame road
is not, in her opinion, a great idea. The proposed road would
run behind M and alongside L. which two units are already
impacted by other projects . She also stated her feeli
