Copies of certain materials to be covered at <br /> this Meeting having already been done so. <br /> i <br /> Edward Baler: Expressed his interest in receiving <br /> information from the Developer as it relates to the proposed plan <br /> for waste water discharge. He stated concern for a condition <br /> referred to as "run off" and its effects upon the Mashpee River. <br /> He suggested the Committee expand their view of impact to <br /> include consideration of the amount- of overall nitrate <br /> contribution to the ground water in the Mashpee River Nater Shed, <br /> which is the location of this prYoj est. <br /> Selectman Dinizio commented on an additional water Study <br /> which is currently underway by Dr. Brian Howes, as well as <br /> suggestion mule by ]fir. Howes at a Selectmen' s Meeting indicating <br /> the need for a waste water Facilities Study to coincide with the <br /> River Study. Selectman Dinizio noted Mashpee} s advantage over <br /> surrounding Cape Cod Towns who have had Waste water Facilities <br /> Studies done, of being in a position to have the benefit of an <br /> Environmental Study as well, in order to aid planning for future <br /> waste water recommendations for the Town. He suggested the <br /> concept of a combination of studies be discussed further at the <br /> Water Shed Management Committee Meeting. <br /> Mr. Raker reiterated his concerns for the .impact the project <br /> will have upon the Mashpee River, as well as for the fact a Town <br /> Meeting vote in this regard is to be scheduled in May. He <br /> expressed his concern there is so little time to properly <br /> evaluate the impact of the proposed zoning change in order to <br /> make a reasonable decision at Town Meeting. <br /> Selectman Dinizio acknowledged discussion of the time limo <br /> for the project is to be addressed as an upcoming agenda item. <br /> Discussion-Market Study <br /> There being no further public comment at this point, <br /> Selectman Dinizio recognized Mr. Robert Braes for the purpose <br /> of addressing the market Study. <br /> i <br /> i <br /> Mr. Braes recapped that the Market study is an aid in the <br /> -2- <br /> I <br />
