Ms. Kane responded that the people of Mashpee would like t <br /> see the master Plan for Mashpee Commons (which would include <br /> projections over the next t renty [201 years) and the impacts <br /> thereof. <br /> Mr. storms stated the Master- Plan has been presented at <br /> Public Hearing, and enumerabl.e graphics regarding the Master Plan <br /> have been made available. Mr. Storrs suggested working through <br /> the Commercial Center Bylaw and OSID Amendments in order to <br /> determine what the studies will be based upon, as they are <br /> presently being based upon the wishes of MLP, which cannot be <br /> accomplished under current zoning. <br /> Ms. Kane made the point that none of the threescheduled <br /> informational Hearings has been conducted, which leads to <br /> distrust among the Townspeople for the process being proposed by <br /> MCLP. <br /> Selectman Marsters suggested Ms. Kane respond to inquiries <br /> by explaining MCLP is moving slowly in this process, which has <br /> not yet moved beyond the point of discussion. He stated none of <br /> what has been proposed is intended to be forced upon anyone and <br /> that the Committee has no intention of advancing until and unless <br /> the proper information.ion i provided. <br /> At this point selectman Marsters suggested moving forward <br /> with this meeting. <br /> Ms. Brooks suggested Mr. Storrs provide a one-page computer <br /> print out of data compiled by MCLP thus far, as a means to inform <br /> the Townspeople of what has transpired to date. <br /> Mr. Storrs responded by disagreeing with the previous <br /> speaker' s comments, as the standard comment from the public has <br /> always been, "we don' t want to hear about it until we know what <br /> the impacts are" . In responding to this Committee, MLP has <br /> attempted to compile the necessary information in a diligent <br /> manner. <br /> (There was some general discussion as to how this utter <br /> should be approached on Town Meeting floor. ) <br /> Mr. Storrs reiterated his feeling that it is very important <br /> for this Committee to formally endorse the Commercial Center <br /> Bylaw Amendments with a vote and to explain the endorsement on <br /> Town Meeting floor. <br /> Selectman Marsters recognized Mr. Baker, who stated he <br /> attended the Planning Board Meeting and was labeled angry and <br /> confused. M . Baker stated for the Record that he was <br /> neither angry nor confused. He stated the point he attempted to <br /> make is that the MLP proposal, in conjunction with other <br /> construction planned for the rotary area, represents a massive <br /> - - <br />
