A building permit is <br /> needed. Building code requires two separate means of egress. one exists, and he needs <br /> another. Sole detectors need to be brought up to code: One in and one near the <br /> bedroom and one every 1,200sf Also, carbon monoxide co-detectors are required; The <br /> septic was constructed for a four-bedroom home in 2003, and four bedrooms are depicted <br /> on the dans provided by the owner.
