Crovvleyngineerig; Inc. <br /> HVAC System Survey <br /> Based on our review and assessment of the HVAC systems, we would not recommend making any <br /> major changes to the HVAC systems, or changing the type of systems that are presently in place. Our <br /> recommendations consist of either replacing or refurbishing aged or failed equipment with sirdar <br /> equipment;upgrading temperature control systems and replacing failed control system components; <br /> adding mechanical ventilation systems to provide outdoor air to all occupied areas of the building; <br /> implementing energy conservation measures;cleaning ductwork;and balancing air handling systems. <br /> The following is a summary of our recommendations with comments: <br /> I. Hot water Boiler;The boiler is approximately 27 years old and nearing the end of its normal useful <br /> life. As noted previously, the boiler appears to be 1n relatively good condition, vith no reported <br /> problems ith its condition or performance. Due to its history of satisfactory performance with <br /> minimal repairs,we would not place a high priority on the replacement of the boner at this time. <br /> We would however,recommend that the boiler be replaced in approximately 5 gears. At that time, <br /> the boiler should be replaced with a high efficiency boiler system consisting of two units or <br /> nodules that would provide the facility with a back-up heat source. <br /> 2. Evaportive Cooler: The evaporative cooler that serves the water source heat pump system <br /> is approximately 15 years old and in fair to good condition.
