October 09 Activities — Sub-committee meetings were held on 1 1 and 10/29. Construction meetings were <br /> held on 10111, 10115 and 10/29. An F&E meeting was held on 10/29 and an IT coordination meeting'was held <br /> on 1018. MBI 's Patience Jackson toured the facility on 10127, Mashpee Fire toured the facility on 10127 and <br /> a full tour was given to the Board of Trustees, Friends, Building Inspector and some Committee members on <br /> 10/16. <br /> Progress for the month consisted.of; the site work proceeded very well during the month and the pavement <br /> birder and granite curbing has been installed. Compaction tests were performed on.the pavement sub-base and <br /> the-results were excellent. The crushed shep drainage mats were also installed. l lash ee Commons completed <br /> the Steeple road widening and the curbing which they were responsible for. The trailer transfer tool place and <br /> PA's has transitioned into the new office trailer. The loam is in the process of being spread and sidewalks are <br /> being formed. The flag pole was also installed and new top-of-the-pole hardware was replaced prior to set the <br /> pole. The exterior trim, roofing and siding were completed during the month and exterior painting is conducted <br /> when weather pennits. The entrance lintel was installed which allowed the masonry to be completed and he <br /> entrance storefronts were installed. The interior of the building is also moving along quite well. All necessary <br /> inspections have taken dace and the sheetrock k is app ox 95% complete. Interior pruning is ongoing and the <br /> ceiling grid for the first floor is complete. The elevator has been installed and is operating but not being used. <br /> The gas service has been activated and we are currently waiting for INSTAR to activate the power. No issues <br /> were noted. <br /> 2. Projected November 09 Activities—A Sub-committee meeting is scheduled for 11/12. wring the month of <br /> November expect that all remaining site work will be completed wring the month and finish pavement <br /> installed and signage installed. Exterior light poles, brick pavers, sidewalks., landscaping will also be <br /> completed during this period.The exterior fmishes i.e.: painting, staining and sealants)will also be completed <br /> and we expect to be performing punch list inspections on a periodic basis as items are completed. The exterior <br /> finish millwork such as ornamental brackets and columns will also be completed during the month. with <br /> respect to the interior of the building; we would expect that all interior fmishes and systems will be well <br /> enough along during the month to begin the installation of the interior miflwork. The heating and ventilation <br /> system will be fired during the month and the plumbing and electrical subs will begin installing their respective <br /> finish materials. <br /> . Construction S bedule—No issues to report. Substantial Completion is expected by January 8,2010 and full <br /> building turnover by February 1,2010. <br /> .
