Therefor the Mashpee Commons <br /> materials could not be included. <br /> There was some discussion as to the enormous amount of trash <br /> being generated from Mashpee commons. Veronica warden expressed <br /> her intention to request the market Basket to provide a cardboard <br /> container for their store. <br /> Stephanie Jones suggested initiating a recycling program for <br /> socia cans at Mashee Commons. (There was brief discussion <br /> regarding the condition of cans accepted for recycling. <br /> meeting Announcement <br /> outheast District 1 workshop <br /> August 2, 2000 <br /> This matter was acknowledged and addressed by Veronica <br /> Warden. <br /> New Business <br /> The Chairman acknowledged a memo from the Board of Selectmen <br /> regarding the Letter of Interest. <br /> Stephanie Jones reported she has delivered the composting <br /> videos to channel 17. she asked for Committee permission to <br /> add a tail onto the information provided which would instruct <br /> people on how to obtain composting bias; to which Veronica warden <br /> agreed. <br /> Ms. Jones also mentioned the possibility of running public <br /> service announcements regarding the com osiers; to which Veronica <br /> warden agreed, suggesting the Board of Health be used as the <br /> contact . <br /> She also mentioned the station expressed an interest in <br /> airing a program on the new compacting system consisting of a <br /> panel discussion on the system/recycling. The Committee Members <br /> were in support of this suggestion. <br /> odd Business <br /> Costs for Recycling Bins at High School <br />
