Board of Appeals Minutes - April 13F 1994 3 * <br /> Members sitting: M. Makunas , E, Govoni, J. Regan <br /> Mr. Govoni explained that the Petitioner had requested to <br /> withdraw without prejudice. <br /> Mr. Makunas moved to grant the Withdrawal without prejudice . <br /> Mr . Regan seconded. All agreed. <br /> Gordon N, Weeks - Requests a Special Permit under Sections <br /> 174-25 ,E. 1 and 174-25 .F. 2 of the Zoning By-Maws to operate <br /> business for the rental and sale f small boats, bikes , skis <br /> and sport products in a► C -1 zoning district on property <br /> located at 528 Falmouth Road (Map 74, Block 1 ) +iashpee, MA, <br /> ( Owner of record: Fields Point Ltd . Partnership) . The site <br /> was formerly occupied by Half. Oil Co . <br /> Members sitting ; M. Makunas , E . Govoni, J . Regan <br /> Mir. Weeks explained that the site plans will not change but <br /> he will add T-square fixtures to hold kyacks and a storage <br /> box for boats and bakes in the evening . He expects to rent <br /> bikes and kyacks and will be delivering them to the sites . <br /> Mr. Makunas questioned if customers might park and gent a <br /> bike and asked about safety in biking into the rotary. <br /> Irving Lewis from Pirate r s Cove asked if kyacks would be used <br /> in the conservation areas along the river and stated that <br /> biking at the rotary would be dangerous . <br /> Mr . Weeks said the season would be May to October and he <br /> would start out with 10 bikes and 10 kyac] s# Mir. Govoni + <br /> questioned parking in the area, Mr. Weeks said there are <br /> four parking spaces plus a handicapped space . Mr . Hauck <br /> suggested that a customer who wanted to rent a bike right <br /> park at Mashpee Commons , Mr. Makunas asked about people who <br /> wanted the bike to use at the site , Mr . Weeks said there was <br /> parking in the rear of the building . fir. Makunas suggested a <br /> letter from Fields Font allowing rear parking . Mr . Regan <br /> said the clothing store parking was seldom used, <br /> Mr . Govoni moved to grant the Special Permit with the <br /> condition that parking for daily rentals be provided in the <br /> rear paved area with the permission of Fields Point and that <br /> bikes cannot enter directly into the rotary under any <br /> condition. Bikes will have to eater Great Heck Road South <br /> only or be delivered. Mr , Regan seconded, All agreed. <br />
