Wiseman explained that many of the vendors put up tents <br /> for protect ion from the weather and it is difficult for many <br /> of them to take them down daily. He is proposing to have a <br /> uniform appearance for the tents with grey tops and blue <br /> sines and will probably be used in four or five rows . He said <br /> the night watchperson would police them at night . - <br /> Mr . Wiseman explained that he . has someone who will install <br /> the teats and sell them to vendors . They will be l ' x 201 <br /> or 2011 x 20 ,' , M * Regan asked how many would be used and Mr . <br /> Wiseman estimated 120 . There was discussion that fabric was <br /> waterproof canvas . <br /> Robert Lynch, a member of the audience, explained that the <br /> tops weigh 30 to 40 pounds .and are difficult to put up and <br /> remove daily. He said that there is more danger in putting <br /> them up and down daily. Mfr . Wiseman said tents would be <br /> taken down the end of September . <br /> Mary McCormack, a resident of Deer Crossing, asked if there <br /> were any by-laws on teats and Mr . M kunas explained that the <br /> restrictions were in the Special Permit. <br /> Ann Tierney, a► resident of Deer Crossing, said she was <br /> concerned with the appearance of the site , Mr. Wiseman said <br /> hand made signs Mould not be used. He said he would start <br /> having one policeman on duty from Memorial Day weekend. He <br /> said if the Police Chief felt more police were necessary h <br /> will hire them. He said traffic would be redirected so that <br /> no exiting will be allowed opposite Deer Crossing. <br /> Richard Lynch, a member of the audience, asked for a <br /> schematic and Mr. Makun s reviewed the approved plan. sir . <br /> Wiseman said he would gave a phone number for people to call <br /> with any problems . Several vendors spoke in favor of <br /> alloying teat tops to stay in place. <br /> Mr . Makunas asked if the night wat hper on would occupy <br /> camper on the site and Mr . Wiseman confirmed that he would <br /> but that no other cars or trucks on the site would be <br /> occupied overnight .
