She said that driving <br /> from Cape Drive. onto to 28 was very difficult . <br /> Bernard Frye, a bus driver, stated that Laidlaw had underbid <br /> a company in Fitchburg and reoieved many complaints in the <br /> first year of operation and the contract was cancelled. <br /> Jean Thomas, a resident who works on Cape Drive,. stated that <br /> the egress from Cape Drive is impossible year long and that <br /> the presence of buses would complicate the traffic and <br /> suggested Laidlaw look for another site. <br /> Charles Bar]olie, an abutter, said the proposal has terrific <br /> impacts on the area and asked if environmental impacts had <br /> been studied. Mr, Horro said they had appeared before the <br /> Board of Health. <br /> Lary Bonifant, an abutter, stated that she was opposed t <br /> buses in the area. <br /> Walter Yarosh, an abutter, asked the Chairman to read the <br /> correspondence . Mr. Cooni read the Board of Health memo <br /> which stated that private wells in the area would have to b <br /> connected to 'down water , Mr, Yarosh said he has a well and <br /> does not plan to connect to 'down water, Mr . Yarosh said <br /> applicant cannot change the pian and that the plan does not <br /> have the information which the By-laws req ui're. He said <br /> Laidlaw has not submitted a landscape pian. The access is <br /> 223, long and he questioned how anyone would. 'get in or out of <br /> Cape Drive when buses are leaving or returning. He said the <br /> smoke and noise would be impossible and they have not <br /> addressed to move the transformer which is located in the <br /> middle of the driveway. He said that approval would cause <br /> undue hardship. Vicki Gauthier, an abutter , stated she was <br /> opposed . <br /> Mr . Govoni noted two letters of opposition were received. <br /> Attorney Hall stated Laidlaw has followed Board of Health <br /> regulations and said that traffic on 28 is already high and <br /> he considered this an innocuous use since it would not be <br /> used on holidays and weekends . <br />
