Increase in transportation costs. <br /> Families with children in high school. and K-8 will <br /> be disrupted. <br /> Option Two: <br /> Pro -- More consistent with today's educational goals. <br /> t <br /> Most families will not be disrupted. <br /> . Children will follow a similar calendar. <br /> Vacations can be planned with a cost savings not <br /> during traditional vacation period) . <br /> No increase in transportation costs. <br /> Con - Change is difficult. <br /> . May interfere with vacation plans. <br /> Br. DeMoura recommended "Option. Two to be consistent with <br /> Falmouth Public Schools. The 1.994-1395 school calendar will <br /> { be voted on at the February regular School Committee <br /> { meeting. <br /> 7 . . Surplus Eguip—men - Dr. DeMoura said that a maroon 1990 <br /> Chevrolet 9-passenger station wagon,., VIN #lGIBU84Y6LA117372 <br /> is no longer being used by the school department due to <br /> safety reasons. Thus, he recommended declaring said vehicle <br /> as surplus and allow the Board. of Selectmen to assign this <br /> vehicle to another department. <br />
