Page 10 <br /> Mashpee School Committee <br /> Minutes-Regular Meeting <br /> October 2, 1996 <br /> VII. 7.1 Air Ouality RFP <br /> SW&ifically <br /> Assign ped/ As directed by the Committee, in response to the Request For Proposal, <br /> Unfinished three companies were interviewed to evaluate the Air Quality and the <br /> Business preparation of equipment specifications for the Middle School and Coombs <br /> School informed Dr. DeMoura who ranked the following; <br /> 1. Al Spectrum Services <br /> 2. Engineering Company, Inc. <br /> 3. Trident Environmental Group <br /> Dr. DeMoura indicated that it is the recommendation of the sub-committee <br /> to award the bid to Engineering Company, Inc. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Mills to award the Air Quality Services as <br /> specified to Engineering Company, Inc. of Canton, MA for a sum <br /> not to exceed, $12,400 as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Mrs. Lynch. <br /> TE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> It was noted that the Capital Improvement Committee authorized funds <br /> for the above evaluation. <br /> 7.2 Instrumental Lessons Contract <br /> Dr.DeMoura recommended the Committee employ the services of <br /> SCORE Music Studios'to perform instrumental teaching lessons. <br /> The sum of$14,000 will provide 30 weeks of lessons to students in <br /> Grades 4, 5, and 6. Funds are within the existing School budget. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Cook to accept the Instrumental Lessons contract <br /> of SCORE Music Studios' for the sum of$14,000. <br /> Motion seconded by Mrs. Mills. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
