MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE ITT - REGULAR MEETING - AFFIL 1.7 1998 'AGE 3 <br /> 5.2 Day on the ,Mill - Mrs. Lynch reminded Committee members <br /> that the annual Day on the Hill registrations must be made to the <br /> 4 <br /> Superintendent's secretary as soon as possible. This annual event <br /> is scheduled for May 13 and 14 at the State House. <br /> STI. Student Student Advisory Council representative Chris Maguire asked the <br /> Advisory Committee to reconsider reinstating the Project Contemporary <br /> Competitiveness (PCC) Program for next year. The school district � <br /> must pay $2,000 to be a member and about 10-13 students are <br /> recommended by teacher and administrators to participate. <br /> Students who participate must pay an additional $850 which is <br /> spent for six weeks during the summer of room, and board at <br /> Bridgewater State College. After much discussion regarding <br /> maintaining this program for next year at a recent budget meeting, <br /> the School Committee voted to withdraw its membership for next <br /> year. Chris said the students who participate in the program get a <br /> lot from it and hoped the Committee would revisit it. It was <br /> decided the Committee would discuss at thein next budget meeting. <br /> I <br /> 1.
