Work Out World MOM continued <br /> • The foyer design may not meet code requirements. <br /> • It appears frame and final inspections were not completed for the entrance and juice bar areas. <br /> • Storage is blocking a listed means of egress. <br /> • Locked accessible entrance at the side door. Peter Howell said it locked on its own. They had <br /> a door bell that shorted out but that can be easily fixed. <br /> • Handicap parking spaces are located at the wrong entrance and do not meet State or Federal <br /> design regulations. <br /> • Raised dance room doors are not handicap accessible. <br /> • Do not have an Occupancy Permit...the temporary Occupancy Permit expired on 0210412002. <br /> • Signs have been installed without approval. <br /> Charlie said that final inspections have not been completed and once issues are straightened out <br /> then can work on occupancy permit. <br /> Charlie advised that signs are to be worked up and approved through Design Review. <br /> Charlie suggested Fire and Building Department meet with WOW at the site so that a list can be <br /> drawn up. <br /> Scott Carline asked whether they plan to open 24 hours. Cindy Scurio said they were interested in <br /> finding out what they have to do to have 24-hour operation. Scott said Police Department would want <br /> to be informed of the hours. Joel commented they have to make sure issues raised are taken care of <br /> prior to 24-hour operation. <br /> Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Community Center <br /> John Racine, Project Architect <br /> Review of Pro'ect Plans <br /> John Racine, Mark Dibb (Civil Engineer), and Richard Desmeule (RKB Architects) appeared. John <br /> Racine gave a brief description on what they are trying to do and referred to submitted drawings to be <br /> reviewed. <br /> • Propose 44,000 square foot building to replace existing facility. It will have government offices; <br /> community space; and health care. <br /> • Hope to submit drawings for permitting. Also showed existing Site. <br /> • Propose to remove dwelling and temporarily locate trailers up front during construction. <br /> • Existing entrance-way to be re-used but will be paved. <br /> • Drainage system will be installed throughout site to handle storm water where needed. <br /> • Drainage system does not meet requirements. <br /> • Mr. Racine indicated on site plan where Cape & Islands engineering located wetlands. <br /> • New septic system to serve new building ... high strength FAST 4.5 IA system. <br /> + Soil absorption system <br /> • Provided access around the building; building fully sprinkled. <br /> • Adequate parking...109 spaces required; they show 269. <br /> • Town water. Existing well will be modified and used for irrigation. <br /> 3 <br />
