S <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 18, 2018 <br /> Department of Public Works Director Catherine Laurent: <br /> Discussion and Approval of Temporary Sign Permit: Household Hazardous Waste Collection: <br /> The Department of Public Works submitted a Temporary Sign Permit Application to the Board of <br /> Selectmen to announce the annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection on Saturday, August 18, <br /> 2018. In accordance with the Town's Sign Policy, temporary signs shall be in place for no more than <br /> five days and shall be removed within twenty-four hours of completion of the event, <br /> A total of(8) signs; 24" x 18" signs would be located at the Transfer Station,the Mashpee Town Hall, <br /> the Municipal Complex entrance on Route 151 and on the Rotary approach islands. Signage would be <br /> promptly removed upon completion of the event. The signs are the same as last year's signage. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to approve the Temporary Sign Permit Application of the <br /> Department of Public Works as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Cahalane, yes Selectman Gottlieb,yes <br /> Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Opposed, none <br /> Discussion and Award of Contract: Pickleball Courts—Fencing & Gates: <br /> Catherine Laurent, Director of Public Works recommended the Board award a contract to R.A.D. Corp in <br /> the amount of$63,199 for fencing and gates at the newly constructed Pickleball Courts on Ashumet <br /> Road. The project was funded by a vote of Town Meeting with Community Preservation Act funds. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to award a contract to R.A.D.
