r i <br /> MINUTES August 1 , 1991 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed he did contact Mr. Schutz to inform <br /> him all bin's are to be emptied, which will ensure the area is <br /> being monitored as agreed by the Contractor. <br /> Mr. Monaghan stated he will inform the Board when the <br /> V.F.W. has instituted a schedule. for monitoring. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Andy Silva - Commercial Permit <br /> Mr. McQuaid informed the Board he received a call from <br /> the Mr. DiMaggio who questioned what Mr. Silva was permitted <br /> to dispose of at the landfill . "Conditions of the permit al- <br /> low for disposal of all items with the exception of household <br /> trash and construction debris." "Mr. Silva has been dispos- <br /> ing of tires and lumber. " Mr. McQuaid stated this Board did <br /> require Mr. Silva to provide a form to this office which <br /> stated what was removed from the property and the residents <br /> authorization. "The form was approved however, was never <br /> submitted. " Mr. McQuaid recommended the Board provide a list <br /> of what items are acceptable. <br /> Mr. Silva stated he has not be advertising enough to do <br /> anything at the landfill this year. <br /> . Mr. Costa relayed, he spoke with Mr. DiMaggio who ex- <br /> pressed concern that other commercial sticker holders are not <br /> permitted to bring in the same materials as Mr. Silva. <br /> Mr. Greelish informed Mr. Silva he is not permitted to <br /> stockpile materials on his property and must dispose of lum- <br /> ber, as it is considered construction debris, at a commercial <br /> landfill. <br /> Mr. Costa explained this Board is currently working on a <br /> procedure whereby the holder of a commercial permit will be <br /> allowed to drop off commercial debris at the landfill. <br /> Mr. Silva requested the Board inform Mr. DiMaggio in <br /> writing of what he may dispose of at the landfill. <br /> Mr. Doherty directed Mr. McQuaid to forward a letter to <br /> Mr. DiMaggio informing him of what Mr. Silva is permitted to <br /> dispose of and to include a copy of 'the form. <br /> APPOINTMENT: E. Duffy - 135 Shore Drive <br /> Mr. Duffy and Mr. Ed Pesce were in attendance this <br /> his . <br /> scheduled appointment. <br /> • r <br />
