Town Administrator's FY '01 bud et recorrrrrrendation <br /> Board acknowledged. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Arlene Nilson re: _133 Tide Run <br /> Ms. Nilson was not in attendance, therefore agenda item was not discussed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: ca & Islands Epaineering re; 202 Monomoscoy Road <br /> Mr. John slavinsky of Cape & Islands Engineering was in attendance for this <br /> scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. Slavinsky stated that the applicant warts to tear down the existing 3- bedroom <br /> house and build a -bedroom house. The septic system has been designed to include <br /> a denitrification system. Being requested is a variance of 10'from the proposed soil <br /> absorption system to the street property line, 35' from the proposed soil absorption <br /> system to the Bordering Vegetated Wetland and 47' from the reserve area to the <br /> Bordering Vegetated Wetland. <br /> Mr. cram motioned to approve the variances as requested in a,cover letter from Cape <br /> Islands Engineering dated January 20 with the stipulation that a reprised plan and <br /> cover letter be submitted showing the denitrification unit. Mr. Ball seconded the <br /> motion. Motion passed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Cape & Islands Bn 'neerm* re: 89 Meadow rook Road <br /> Mr. John SI vinsky of cape & Islands Engineering was in attendance for this <br /> scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. Slarinsky stated that the applicant is requesting a variance of 8'from the well to <br /> the proposed soil absorption system. The well as shorn on the plan is very close to <br /> registered vernal pool. Mr. Bob Sherman, I lashpee conservation Agent has expressed <br /> his concern over the proximity of the well to this vernal pool and its affect on the <br /> surface water. Mr. McQuaid spoke with a local well driller who stated that a 2" or "' <br /> well servicing a single family home will not drag down any surface crater'. <br /> Mr. cram motioned to grant the variance as requested in a cover letter- from cape & <br /> Islands Engineering dated January 18, 2000. Mr. Ball seconded the motion. Motion <br /> passed. <br />
