} <br /> JNUT S March 9, 2000 3 BOARD of HEALTH <br /> b. Transfer Station sticker costs <br /> Discussion took place regarding the cost of printing stickers for the transfer <br /> station. Mr. Cram motioned to approve the cost as submitted.by the 'Town Clerk. <br /> Mr. Ball seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> c. Rec)rcling Committee recommendations <br /> The Recycling Committee has recommended that a sign be made informing <br /> residents that cardboard will no longer be allowed in with residential trash. <br /> Corrugated cardboard must now be recycled. Also recommended is a platform in <br /> the area of the newspaper recycling roll-off. <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to approve the report from the Recycling Conunittee with <br /> regard to the sign on the corrugated cardboard and also the platform for the <br /> newspaper bin. Mr. Ball seconded the motion. Motionpassed. <br /> d. Invoice for rough adin t transfer station <br /> Mr. p <br /> McQuaid resented the Board with an invoice for $6,235.00 submitted by <br /> Coastal Waste Management for the grading of 2 acres of property at the transfer <br /> station. He indicated that this work was not approved the Board of Health but ova' <br /> recommended by Creston & Sampson at a bi-monthly inspection. Once Mr. <br /> McQuaid became aware of this work having been done, he told Mr. Cassanelli to <br /> keep track of his hours and submit a bill to the Board to see if there is any money <br /> left at the end of the fiscal year to pay him for it. This was not ars item that had <br /> been budgeted for. MT. Cram motioned to continue this item. 'T'here was no <br /> second. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> . Transfer Station contract <br /> This item has been addressed. <br /> 2 <br /> b. CRT Recycling <br /> This item has been addressed. <br /> . Oil 'Tanrant <br /> Ms. Warden explained that she received an oil tank grant through the MRI <br /> program. DRP gage the town of'Tisbury grant money, which they did not use <br /> which wiil, in turn, be provided to Mashpee. She indicated that she would <br /> continue to pursue this matter in an effort to get the tank as quickly as possible. <br /> d. Sunday mom s at the transfer station <br /> Mr. Ball questioned whether Bill Feddema of the Upper Cape Regional Transfer <br /> Station would be willing to open up the station for the next four Sundays at :30 in <br /> the morning in order to help Mashpee dispose of trash on the weekends. - e asked <br /> Mr. McQuaid to go to the Board of Managers to request their authorization of this <br /> opening of the station. <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated that he had had a Board of Managers meeting this morning <br /> and it was discussed. He said that the Town of Mashpee would be responsible for <br />
